CreoSalus is looking for a Director, Human Resources and Talent to work in Louisville, Kentucky.

Position Summary
In this highly visible role, you will report directly to the CFO and will be responsible for leading all HR aspects for the organization. The Director, Human Resources and Talent originates and leads HR practices and objectives that will provide an employee-oriented, high-performance culture that emphasizes empowerment, quality, productivity and standards, goal attainment, and the recruitment and ongoing development of a superior workforce. The Director coordinates implementation of services, policies, and programs and assists and advises company managers about HR issues.

Responsibilities
The Director, Human Resources and Talent guides and manages the overall provision of HR services, policies, and programs for the entire company. The major areas directed are:

  • Recruiting and staffing
  • Performance management systems
  • Organization development
  • Employment and compliance to regulatory concerns
  • Employee orientation, development, and training
  • Policy development and documentation
  • Employee relations
  • Company employee and community communication
  • Compensation and benefits administration
  • Employee safety, welfare, wellness, and health
  • Employee services and counseling

Requirements

  • Experience leading, developing and deploying all aspects of effective strategic workforce planning, talent acquisition, organizational design, learning & development, resource planning, employee engagement, performance management, and talent development.
  • Proven experience providing guidance and advice to managers and leaders on people management issues and their impact on performance, morale and organization effectiveness.  Strong ability to determine root cause of issues and recommends appropriate plans to optimize talent, structure and culture.
  • Experience using metrics to help drive business and HR efficiency, improve HR key processes and make recommendations to enhance HR services. Ability to analyze new hire information to identify and address trends.  Use data and informal feedback to identify coaching, training opportunities, and areas for improvement.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Excellent computer skills in a Microsoft Windows environment. Must include Excel and skills in database management and record keeping.
  • General knowledge of various employment laws and practices.
  • Experience in the administration of benefits and compensation programs and other HR programs.
  • Evidence of the practice of a high level of confidentiality.
  • Excellent coaching skills with a focus on developing managers.
  • Strong understanding of the interviewing process, benefits administration, payroll and other HR functions.


Qualifications & Education 

  • Minimum of Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Human Resources, Business, Organization Development.
  • 5 -10 years of progressive HR & Talent Acquisition experience in a generalist role
  • 3+ years’ experience in a HR leadership position
  • Previous experience in a start-up organization and/or manufacturing a plus
  • Demonstrated ability to influence change within an organization by leveraging strong working relationships built on trust
  • Strong understanding of the sourcing and interviewing process, benefits administration, payroll and other HR functions
  • Experience in employment law, compliance, compensation, organizational planning, organization development, onboarding, employee relations, and training, preferred
  • HR certification preferred
